Teaching & learning
This learning option will be taught using a combination of modern and traditional methods. Learning activities include: hands-on projects and interactive discussions; cyber security exercises and software development tasks; and listening to guest speakers from local tech companies.
Course assessment
The qualification will assess core digital knowledge, with two compulsory work-related units and one optional work-related unit. Assessment will cover practical application as well as critical, analytical and logical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration.
Minimum entry requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language and Maths.
