Human Biology Level 3 Extended Certificate (A Level Equivalent)

Teaching & learning

Minimum entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including:

• Combined Science 4/4
• If separate sciences, Biology grade 4 and grade 4 in another science

What can I do with this qualification?

With this qualification you can pursue Higher Education, which could mean a degree programme in Nursing, Life Sciences, a sports-related field, or an allied health discipline such as physiotherapy, for example. Ultimately you will be in a strong position to secure a career in fields including biosciences, medicine, paramedicine and midwifery, as well as other healthcare professions.
