If you are looking to learn or upskill in the design and production of fibreglass and composite materials, then this course is for you.
You will learn from highly qualified and experienced composite engineers who apply composite design, repair and processing knowledge to this in-depth training course.
We promote and encourage best practice, knowledge transfer and development in composite materials.
This introductory course has been designed to provide knowledge and build essential skills, combining theory and practical elements to enable you to gain a good understanding of the subject.
Information & support
This course is primarily aimed at people with limited or minimal knowledge of composite manufacture.
It would be ideal for those who own boats or have just started work in the marine industry and wish to gain experience to enable them to produce items or repair mouldings using hand lay-up techniques.
It may also be of interest to those who repair other structures such as motor vehicle body panels, aeronautical parts or any other industries utilising composite materials.
You will learn at our dedicated training facility which is fully equipped with the latest dust extraction systems and in house manufacturing capabilities.
You will achieve a college certificate at the end of this course.
Cost
There is a cost of £625 for this 5 day course.
This course fee includes lunch.
All materials and tools are provided but safety footwear is required in the workshop and work clothes are recommended.
