Course introduction


This leisure opportunity comprises a wide range of exercises that focus on core stability, with progression to more challenging moves. Pilates can improve your posture and breathing while also providing relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. It will be taught through a combination of explanation, demonstration and practice. You will learn through self-assessment and will be monitored and guided by your Tutor. If you have any medical/physical problems that may affect your participation, please consult a doctor/physio/chiropractor first. If you are concerned about your ability to exercise or any medical conditions, please discuss these concerns with the Tutor. As with all exercise classes, you will be required to complete a simple and confidential health questionnaire.

Course information


You will need to bring a mat, pillow and flex-band.
