Beginning your college journey is a big and exciting step but we recognise that it can also feel challenging at times. At Brockenhurst College, our dedicated Wellbeing Team, based in the Brock Hub, provides confidential, student-centred support to help you stay healthy, resilient and focused on achieving your goals.

No issue is too small. Whether you are feeling anxious, experiencing personal difficulties, managing exam stress, or simply need someone to listen, our friendly team is here to help. Seeking support is a sign of strength, and early conversations often make a significant difference.
What We Offer
Our holistic wellbeing provision includes:
• Free, confidential counselling sessions
• Emotional and mental health support, including low-level and early intervention support
• Practical strategies and techniques to manage stress and anxiety (“Change Begins with Me”)
• Exam stress support and wellbeing resources
• Support for LGBTQIA+ students and those who may need additional guidance
• Relationship advice and healthy relationship support
• Advise and clear signposting to specialist external services
• Access to the College Nurse
• Support with GP appointments and accessing the NHS App
• Help accessing food bank services in Southampton, Bournemouth and surrounding areas
• Personalised support plans to help you stay on track
• Signposting and referrals to external agencies when specialist support is needed
Working Together to Support You
The Wellbeing Team works closely with pastoral staff, safeguarding leads and teaching teams to ensure students receive coordinated and compassionate care. Our approach is proactive, supportive and tailored to individual needs.
