This learning opportunity is designed for people who are keen to continue their French language learning adventure, having completed a beginners course. You should already be able to confidently introduce and communicate some basic information about yourself and others in French. You will also be able to use the present tense and recognise other tenses in texts and audio, while having some knowledge about daily life, customs and culture in France. Focus will be on conversation, speaking and listening, with an element of grammar. In addition, you will practise some reading and writing. A range of tasks and activities will be set during lessons, and there will be weekly homework as well. There is no formal testing. However, all work and progress will be monitored in class.
Course information
This course is suitable for people who have studied French in the past and want to further their skills. We will be using Façon de Parler 2 Intermediate French 5th edition. ISBN 978-1444181227. Please bring a notebook and pen.
