Teaching & learning


This learning option will be taught using a combination of modern and traditional methods. Learning activities include: hands-on projects and interactive discussions; cybersecurity exercises and website development for real clients; and listening to guest speakers from local tech companies.

Minimum entry requirements


Five GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including:

  • English Language grade 5
  • Maths
  • A science or combined science
  • Previous study of IT/Computing at Level 2 preferred
