Course introduction
This qualification will enable you to become an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA). Successfully completing this course will mean you can quality assure the work of assessors who assess learners in your subject area.
You must be in employment and working in a quality assurance role.

You will need a computer and internet access to follow your programme and be able to access the appropriate learning resources.
Course assessment
This is a work based qualification. Your performance will be assessed continuously to meet the prescribed outcomes for skills, knowledge and behaviours. You will need to monitor your Assessors in practice and also sample their Assessment decisions.

Minimum entry requirements
GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
What can I do with this qualification?
This course will qualify you to be an Internal Quality Assurance practitioner (IQA). After successful completion, you may wish to progress on to the Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, which will enable you to develop your career by becoming a Lead IQA.
