The course is aimed at absolute beginners in Italian, who want to acquire a basic knowledge of the language to communicate in practical situations. This course will focus on conversation and speaking and correct pronunciation while keeping grammar to a minimum. You will learn and practise fundamental language skills, helping you to develop basic communication and gain a secure understanding of the essentials of life in Italy. The key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Italian will be practised in an engaging and supportive way, with a range of tasks and activities set during the lesson, as well as regular homework. There will be no formal testing, but your work and progress will be monitored by your Tutor.

This course is suitable for people who want to converse the Italian language, but who are willing to make mistakes, have a go and learn.
