Photography – photographing people with a camera
Course introduction
You will explore the key elements of photographing people, elevating your imagery from simple snaps to formal and informal portraits. Ensuring you have a good understanding of the basics of your camera and the essential elements of a good photograph, you will focus on creating images full of personality. There will be tips to overcome common challenges, plus simple editing tips to enhance your final product. You will experiment to build your confidence in capturing characterful, timeless frames of your friends and family to share or print. Meanwhile, you will improve your general photography skills as well.
Course information
Please bring a notebook and pen. This course is suitable for all levels, but you will need a digital camera, preferably a DSLR or mirrorless. Please bring your camera, plus any memory cards and fully charged batteries. Please also bring your camera instruction manual and any other camera equipment you may have that could be useful. This could include a tripod, reflectors, a flash gun, and filters.
