Soft Furnishings Workshop – Lampshade
Course introduction
In this workshop, you will learn how to make a professionally finished contemporary 30cm diameter drum lampshade. Bring along the fabric of your choice and any trimmings you may wish to add.
Enjoy a fun morning learning a new skill and leave with a beautiful new addition to your home or a stylish gift for someone.
Information & support
Material costs for this course are £8.50 to be paid in cash on the day. Additional kits will be available to purchase. A small selection of fabrics can be made available on the day if necessary, for a small charge.
Learners must bring:
- Fabric, a minimum of 110cm wide x 40cm long (taking the pattern into consideration)
- Trimmings, if required
- 1 x sharp pair of scissors
- 1 x tape measure
- Pins or removable fabric marker
