The cost of your course will depend on your fee status, which is normally determined by your residency, as well as your programme. We charge international tuition fees according to the Education Funding Agency (EFA) guidelines. As part of your application process, our International Department will assess your status and advise you of any fees you may be subject to.
If you are ordinarily resident in the EU or the EEA you will usually have ‘home’ student status. Students who are habitual residents of the EU/EEA are subject to a Student Support fee.
Students from outside the European Union are usually subject to pay international fees for their courses, as there is no government subsidy for learners who are habitual residents outside the EU/EEA area. Residency does not necessarily correlate with nationality: if you are a Brazilian resident but have been given Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), shown as a stamp in your passport, then the College will regard you as a ‘home’ student. If you require a visa to enter or remain in the EU then the College will regard you as an ‘international’ student and will assign you a different fee status.
All tuition fees remain the same for the second year if student continues with the same Brock programme. Accommodation fees are subject to a 10% per cent annual increase.
The prices quoted are in British pounds (GBP). Tuition fees are provided as a guide only and you may be required to pay additional exam and resource fees depending on your programme of study. You may wish to check your fee status independently by visiting UKCISA website: UKCISA.org.uk or for full funding guidelines, you can visit the EFA.
Current tuition fees are included in our prospectus, additional fees may be charged for extra tuition requested, additional subjects, some optional enrichment activities, books and materials, lockers, excursions, sport activities and equipment, trips and social events.
Brockenhurst College offers various host family accommodation options.
Accommodation over the Christmas and Easter break is included in the fees regardless of whether the student will choose to stay in the UK or not. Accommodation over the Summer break is not included and students will be required to find a storage solution for their belongings.
Transportation between the host family and the College is included, if applicable. All students living with our host families will be provided with a train or bus scholar pass.
All fee paying students staying in accommodation not arranged by Brockenhurst College will be charged an Independent Student Support Fee of £500 per year of study.
Late arrivals or early departures will not receive a refund unless there are exceptional circumstances.
