Summer & Winter School Courses
Course introduction
Our Spring, Summer and Winter Schools are designed to give you an authentic British cultural and study experience during your school break.
The one-to-four-week programmes provide the opportunity to study and improve your English language skills by taking part in a range of classes, activities and trips.
At Brockenhurst College we run a series of summer and winter schools for both individuals and groups.
For groups of ten or more participants we can offer English language-based programmes with additional activities, academic subject classes, sightseeing and sporting events.
Importantly, these learning packages include accommodation with a local host family, plus all meals and transport.
Course structure
Spring, Summer and Winter Schools are an ideal way to learn about what it is like to study in the UK, while also gaining opportunities to visit some of the most popular locations in our region.
You will learn in modern, well-equipped classrooms from our highly-experienced English teachers.
We always encourage discussion and you will participate in small-group work as well as individual tasks.
Lessons are designed to be fun, interactive and informative, containing information about locations you are likely to visit.
A typical course will include half-day trips to places such as Bournemouth with its popular beach, Southampton with its historical attractions and shopping, and Winchester, which was the original capital of England.
Full-day trips will normally include visits to places such as London, Bath and Oxford.
