Italian – beginners/improvers (three term programme)
Course introduction
This course is the one for you if you would like to continue developing your conversational Italian to acquire a working knowledge of the language for practical situations. It will focus on conversation, speaking and correct pronunciation, and it will look at grammar in more detail. Importantly, you should have at least two years of previous study behind you. You will learn and practise fundamental language skills, helping you to develop your communication and gain a secure understanding of the essentials of life in Italy. The key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Italian will be practised in an engaging and supportive way, using a range of tasks and activities set during lessons, as well as regular homework. There will be no formal testing, but your work and progress will be monitored by your Tutor.
Course information
This course is suitable for people who want to continue their journey in Italian and to become more proficient at speaking, listening, reading and writing, but who are still willing to make some mistakes, have a go and learn.
