Pilates – Seated or Standing
Course introduction
Pilates comprises a wide range of exercises that focus on core stability, while improving posture, body tone, alignment, strength and ?exibility. The exercises can be practised on the chair or standing. There will be no floorwork. The programme will be taught through a combination of explanation, demonstration and practice. If you have any medical/physical problems that may affect your participation, please consult a doctor/physio/chiropractor first. If you are concerned about your ability to exercise or any medical conditions, please discuss these concerns with your Tutor. As with all exercise classes, you will be required to complete a simple and confidential health questionnaire.
Course information
This course is suitable for all levels. You will need to bring a mat, pillow and flex-band.
