Getting ready to join Brock

Term starts with your Welcome Day on 4 or 5 September 2025. You will be allocated a day based on your course(s). On Welcome Day you will follow a special timetable that supports your transition to Brock. Your regular timetable will start on 9 September 2024.

You will receive an email from us with extra details of your Welcome Day once the Enrolment period is over. This information will include what time to arrive, where to go, and when you will receive your timetable for the day.

Your timetable will be made available on Welcome Day.  In one of your sessions, you will be shown how to log in and access this.

Lessons will start at 9:00am and end at 4:20pm, Monday to Friday. For most students, each lesson will be 90 minutes in length.

If you are attending Marchwood or Ultima, you will have a different timetable, and most of your lessons will take place at your home campus. However, you will attend the Brockenhurst campus for Maths and English lessons if you are studying these subjects. Full details will be provided at the beginning of term.

Pens, pencils, paper, your lunch or lunch money/payment card and your completed pre-course assignments. You will be advised by your subject teachers on Welcome Day about textbooks and any other course-specific requirements. Once you receive your lanyard containing your photo ID on Welcome Day, you must wear this at all times while on campus.

Applications to the 2025/26 Discretionary Bursary fund are now open.

Households with a net income under £35,000 per annum may be eligible for bursary support with travel and essential course costs, including trips and resources.
