All-Ways Safe campaign
Posted on: 24th September 2014
Brockenhurst College launched their ‘All-Ways Safe’ campaign this week. The safety campaign will run all week, aiming to educate students on how to stay safe in a variety of situations. Each day focused on a specific aspect and covered issues such as personal safety, relationship safety, road safety, street safety and cyber safety.
All-Ways Safe week is a brilliant way to educate students not only about safety within the College, but within the wider community too, teaching them of the dangers they may face in their teen years and later in life. The week also promotes the idea of being healthy, responsible citizens, and prepares them for the many eventualities they may face throughout their lives.
Students are invited to participate in the various events and talks will be held on the main campus where a range of professionals including police, fire and ambulance personnel, will be available to offer advice on a huge range of safety related topics.
Di Roberts, Principal of the College, commented: “We have a duty to our students to ensure that they remain safe not only on our campus but in the wider world. Our ‘All-Ways Safe’ week gives us the opportunity to ensure that they are aware of a range of safety issues that might affect them and to encourage them to take necessary steps to safeguard themselves and others.”
