Students at Brockenhurst College are celebrating today as they receive their A Level, vocational and T Level results and prepare for their next steps.

There were strong performances across the College, with 16 A Level subjects achieving a 100% pass rate and more than half of students achieving A*-B grades in 11 subjects, including Fine Art, English Literature, French and Further Mathematics.
Vocational students achieved strong results, with more than half achieving high grades across a wide range of Level 3 subjects.
Students are now progressing to a range of destinations, with 85% of university applicants securing places at their first or second choice institutions, alongside others moving on to apprenticeships, employment and gap years.

Judith Munro, Deputy Principal at Brockenhurst College, said: “We are incredibly proud of our students and everything they have achieved. These results reflect their hard work, determination and enthusiasm for learning, and it has been a privilege to see them grow in confidence and ambition during their time at Brock.
“Their achievements are also testament to the support of our teaching and support staff, their families and the schools that helped lay the foundations for their success.
“It is wonderful to see our students celebrating today and we are excited to see where their ambitions take them next. We are equally proud of what our students go on to achieve beyond Brock, with 80% of those who progress to university achieving a First or Upper Second-Class degree.”
Among those celebrating today was Dylan Morris from Poole, who achieved D*D*D* in his Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design. Dylan, who previously attended Poole High School, has secured a place at Arts University Bournemouth to study Illustration.
Dylan said: “I’m very proud. Very, very proud. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. I’d recommend Brock without a shadow of a doubt. I think the people, the location, the students, staff and everything are the best that you can get.”
Zuzana Vronska achieved Mathematics (A*), French (A), Environmental Science (A) and Further Mathematics (A) in her A Levels, alongside an A in her EPQ. The former Ringwood Waldorf School pupil has secured a place at the University of Exeter to study Mathematics with International Study.
Zuzana said: “I’m pleased with my results, especially Maths because that’s what I’m going to do at uni. My teachers were always there for me, helping me to get to this moment now. I’d recommend Brock because it has the feel of a university, where you work independently and take responsibility for your learning.”
Oliver Canning from Holbury achieved Law (A), History (A) and Politics (B) in his A Levels. Oliver, who previously attended Lift New Forest and served as Vice President of Brock’s Students’ Union, has secured a place at Durham University to study Law and hopes to become a barrister.

Oliver said: “I’m really happy. I got what I needed to get into my favoured university. The help we received when completing practice exam papers really helped us with understanding the finer points, helping us achieve the higher grades. I’m hoping to become a barrister, so one of my Brock highlights was getting to debate at the University of Oxford.”
