For another year running, Brockenhurst College has successfully supported‘Operation Christmas Child’. The shoeboxes were wrapped, packed and collected and will now be posted to disadvantaged children in need across Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
A group of students from the College volunteered to help load the ‘Operation Christmas Child’ delivery van with the gifts. The charity, run by the Samaritan’s Purse, helps to deliver Christmas presents to more than a million underprivileged children.
Di Roberts, CBE, Principal, commented: “I am delighted that we were once again able to support this extremely worthwhile charity, and that so many Brock students and staff members have come together to help disadvantaged children around the world this Christmas”.
