EGG-cellent effort as students and staff donate 125 Easter Eggs to food bank

Staff and students at Brockenhurst College donated 125 standard size Easter eggs to low income families through The Trussell Trust Food Bank in Christchurch.
Helen Steel from Student Services, who organised the donation drive, said she was blown away by the generosity, adding that it was a tricky logistical challenge to transport the bumper haul.
Nevertheless, she managed to deliver every single egg intact on Maundy Thursday ahead of distribution on Good Friday.
Helen said: “Thank you to everyone who donated. I used to work in the community supporting people on the verge of homelessness, so I know that your act of kindness will have made a real difference for so many families at Easter.”
