Brock alumni and pro-footballer Danny Ings made his senior international debut for England in October.

Manager Roy Hodgson brought him on in the second half of his side’s 3-0 away win against Lithuania in a European Championship qualifier.

With England already through to Euro ’16 in France, it was the ideal opportunity for Hodgson to take a look at the 23 year-old.

Danny said the England call up meant the world to him and that it was the realisation of a childhood dream.

The forward will now have his eyes set on making the 23 man squad next summer.

Everyone here at Brock wishes him the very best of luck.
