Course introduction
This course designed for people who are interested in studying at degree level before establishing successful graduate careers in health and social care. The qualification is equivalent to one A Level, and it is a useful option for you if you want to develop applied knowledge in this area alongside two other subjects.
The qualification has three mandatory units covering the following topics:
- Human lifespan and development.
- Human biology and health.
- Health and social care practice.
You will also study one optional unit in one of the following areas: health, social policy and wellbeing; promoting health education; safe environments in health and social care.
