Uniformed Protective Services students led Victory in Europe Day celebrations yesterday with a parade on the main campus.
The group wore their Cadet Unit uniforms as they marched under the Union Jack, which fluttered in the spring sunshine.
Meanwhile, students from across the college flooded onto the grass to take in the moment and reflect on the sacrifices of their ancestors.
At 12 noon there was a two-minute silence, which was observed immaculately.
Students then played garden games and enjoyed ice creams.
Uniformed Protective Services Lecturer, James McIntosh, said: “This was a very special occasion, and the Uniformed Protective Services students were exceptional in their solemn and disciplined tribute.
“VE Day is important, because victory guaranteed Britons freedom, liberty and the rule of law, which are values we proudly teach, practise and uphold here at Brock.”
