A Levels

A Level courses

A Level courses are a logical choice if you did well in your GCSEs and wish to continue developing your knowledge and skills in the academic subjects you enjoy.

At Brock we have a wide range of A Level courses, including some not offered by other sixth form education providers in our area.

Importantly, A Levels can help you prepare for a first job or further training. They also form the main basis for the traditional route into university.

Entry requirements & course structure

To enrol on an A level programme you will need to achieve A*- C grades in at least five subjects at GCSE.

In your first year you will complete two/three modules of the course, which will give you an AS qualification.

If you decide to continue the course you will do a further two/three modules in your second year to complete your full A level.

A levels are classroom based but could be combined with options such as our Business Administration Award course or options from our Enrichment programme to develop your practical skills.
